Russian President Vladimir Putin has awarded a number of senators orders of Honor and Friendship, should be published on the official portal of legal information of the decree of the President.
For the big contribution to development of parliamentarism, active legislative work and many years of diligent work order of Honour was awarded to the members of Council of Federation Alexander Akimov and Sergei Kalashnikov. Order of Friendship awarded Senator Valery Ponomarev.
The medal "For merits before Fatherland" II degree was awarded to the senators, Andrei Epishin, Alexander Ermakov, Alexey Korotkov and Vadim Harley.
