Chancellor Scholz spoke to Russia’s President Vladimir Putin on Friday morning. This was announced by the Kremlin via the state news agency “Ria Novosti”.
According to ZDF information, Putin is said to have explained to Scholz the “logic” behind the Russian behavior and tried to highlight the alleged human rights violations by Ukraine. What Scholz is said to have said about this is not clear from the Kremlin statement.
