Earlier it became known about the conclusion of the parties negotiations on the purchase of additional space at the manned spacecraft “Soyuz”.
“This amendment to the contract is 90 million 252 thousand 905 dollars and 69 cents for the same location (on the ship “Union”.-B) in the fall of 2020″, — commented on the results of the negotiations in NASA. The contract price includes training and preparation for flight, maintenance flight, the work of the team on boarding and rescue mission, as well as the delivery of a limited volume of cargo to the station and back.
the Agency said that as compensation for the transfer places on the “Union” the American astronaut NASA undertook to deliver to the ISS in the next 2.5 years 800 kg of Russian goods.
Recall now the Soyuz is the only vehicle that can carry astronauts to the ISS. At the end of 2019, it became known that NASA wants to buy two seats on the Russian Soyuz. The current contract with NASA “Roscosmos” is calculated up to October 2020.
