On October 10, the Moscow Planetarium will open after the modernization of the Great Star Hall. The 25-meter dome screen, one of the five largest in the world, has improved image quality.

In addition, the 4D cinema of the planetarium will host the premiere of the educational cartoon “Secrets of Gravity”. The audience will go on a trip to the Albert Einstein Museum, learn about the discoveries of the great scientist, the laws of nature, gravity.  Thanks to the stereo projection system, dynamic seats and special effects of the 4D cinema, viewing will turn into an exciting adventure. Excellent image quality, the feeling of falling into an abyss, acceleration or flight will immerse the viewer in the reality of what is happening on the screen. The project “Theater of Fascinating Science” has also been updated, and a new program “Constellations of the Argonauts” has appeared in the repertoire. Children will learn about the stars and constellations of the Southern hemisphere, master navigation, get acquainted with new concepts. Classes in the theater are held in a playful way.

In order to attend classes of the Theater of Fascinating Science program on weekdays, you can now purchase a special single group ticket. The maximum number of participants in a group is 10 people. All details can be found on the website.

As before, in the planetarium you can visit excursions, a series of lectures “The Tribune of the Scientist”, the exhibition hall of the Urania Museum, a retro cafe, as well as watch scientific and educational films.
