the Exit of Washington from the Treaty on open skies (DON) can cause serious damage to the architecture of European security and the system of agreements in the field of arms control. This conclusion is contained in a joint statement, Moscow and Minsk, the text of which is July 6, is hosted on the website of the Belarusian foreign Ministry, BelTA informs.

When you define and implement our future policy in respect of the DON, we will work closely within the group of States parties to the Treaty, guided by the objectives of maintaining international stability and improving the efficiency and viability of the Treaty through the strengthening of trust between States parties and with a view to ensuring the security interests of Belarus and Russia”, – stated in the document.
