Lawyer Ivan Pavlov revealed details of the messages of the foreign intelligence Service (SVR) of treason adviser to the head of Roskosmos and journalist Ivan Safronov. About it reports RIA Novosti news Agency.

According to him, a letter from General SVR sent to the FSB, it follows that Safronov allegedly collaborated with the secret services of the Czech Republic through an unnamed foreigner.

“a Secret information was unknown, the unnamed foreigner, a spy,” said the lawyer Safronova. According to him, this man knows only that he is trained and has special skills, is the representative of the Czech intelligence services. His citizenship in a letter to the SVR is not specified.

Pavlov pointed out that the name of the General of the SVR, who signed the message to the FSB, in the criminal case also is not called.

July 10, SVR Director Sergei Naryshkin commented on the case Safronova, saying that his detention is connected with his professional activities. This Naryshkin highly estimated professionalism of employees of the Russian counterintelligence.

Earlier on July 16 it was reported that Safronov dramatically lost weight for a week’s stay in the SIZO “Lefortovo”. He lost five pounds.

Safronov was detained on July 7 and arrested for two months. According to the FSB, he was recruited in 2012 by the Czech secret service, on the instructions of which it is out of selfish motives collected and transferred to its representative in 2017 information constituting a state secret.
