MOSCOW, 17 Jun — RIA Novosti. At the meeting with Prime Minister Greece, the Israeli government led by Benjamin Netanyahu first called the possible date of opening of borders for foreign citizens, presumably the August 1, according press service Ministry of tourism of Israel.
According to him, this will be possible if the existing control epidemic of coronavirus.
He also added that the primary goal is the resumption of flights and restoration of tourism in Israeli-Greek and the Israel-Cyprus directions.
“Domestic tourism is open for a few weeks. Israelis are enjoying the Sunny weather and beautiful beaches on all of our four seas, — said Vladimir Shklyar, Director of the Department of the Ministry of tourism of Israel in Russia and the CIS. — The opening of borders between Greece and Israel will be the starting point, the long-awaited event for all the tourists who dream to visit Israel. We are very closely monitoring the epidemiological situation in Russia and hope that the situation will resume flights between our countries in August”.
