MOSCOW, 28 APR — RIA Novosti. Israel is not planning to introduce visas for Russians on the background of the pandemic coronavirus, said charge d’affaires of Israel in Russia Eli Belotserkovsky.

“I don’t see some changes and some additional measures concerning visas. Between our countries a visa-free regime, and I think that this regime will continue. Anyway, from the Israeli side changes are not expected in this direction”, — the diplomat said at an online press conference organized by the Unified information center of the Jewish organizations of Russia.

however, he noted that the issue of opening the country for foreign tourists “will be at a later stage, there is still no scheduled flights to any country, so first we will open the field of internal tourism”.

“opening to foreign tourism will be considered late, so it is difficult to say what measures would be for foreign tourists. One thing I can say, there will not be special measures for tourists from different countries, they will be the same for all”, — said Belotserkovsky.

In Israel, according to latest figures – 15 of 555 cases COVID, the total number of deaths is 204.
