In Nagorno Karabakh has introduced a regime of emergency because of the coronavirus

YEREVAN, April 12 – RIA Novosti. A state of emergency imposed for a month in the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, coronavirus, said on Sunday in a press-service of President of NKR Bako Sahakyan.

“the President sent a message to the citizens of the Republic and announced that he had signed the decree about introduction of state of emergency in the Republic of Artsakh (Karabakh self – Prim. ed.) to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection and protect the population from the threat of a pandemic coronavirus,” – said in a statement posted on the website of the Karabakh leader.

In the decree as follows that the state of emergency will be valid from 12 April to 12 may. It is also noted that identified in Karabakh cases of coronavirus require the adoption of additional measures, including during the second round of presidential elections on April 14.

According to press-service, Sahakyan convened on Sunday an extended meeting of the interagency Commission, coordinating the work to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. The meeting was attended by representatives of legislative, Executive and judicial organs.

According to the authorities of the unrecognized Republic of Karabakh identified five cases of coronavirus, nine people isolated.
