More than 170 tons of humanitarian aid from Russia for the first time sent to the Syrian province of hasakah. This was announced by Deputy chief of staff logistics troops of the armed forces in Syria, Colonel Maksim Gerasimov.
According to him, the collection was made in the port of Tartus, and to overcome the convoy will have more than 1.5 thousand kilometers to one side, writes TASS. Genomaps will be delivered in three settlements of the province, where it will be distributed among the local residents. Along the way to protect the relief convoys are the military police unit and army aviation.
