Germany noted that he did not know about the technical part of the project, however, comes from the fact that “Nord stream-2” is completed. In addition, it is noted that the government will provide political support to the companies participating in the project.
Parliament stated that it does not plan to respond to the US sanctions, the government believes that such measures are not useful. Moreover, countermeasures to the sanctions can only be imposed in accord with the European Union.
Earlier in April in the German Parliament took up arms against the us for its quality and has stood up for the project of the pipeline “Nord stream-2”, calling it important for the country. According to the head of the Bundestag Committee for economic Affairs and energy of Klaus Ernst, a gas pipeline from Russia to Germany will enable Europe to more Russian natural gas.
he stressed that the American raw material that is extracted by the method of hydraulic fracturing (fracking) and advances in the region, cannot be an alternative to the Russian due to the high cost and less environmental impact.

At the end of last year there were restrictions for the project participants in Europe. As a result, the commissioning of the “Nord stream-2” was postponed until the 2020-2021 years.
