Adviser to the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Chikovani believes that the former President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili is a politician of the past, which will not bring any positive results, neither in Georgia nor in Ukraine.
Earlier, Saakashvili said that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky invited him to become Deputy Prime Minister for reform and asked to begin negotiations with the IMF and other financial institutions. The purpose was to vote the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, but support for his candidacy among the deputies yet, including the Pro-presidential faction "public Servant". The speaker of Parliament Dmitry Razumkov reported on Sunday that the Cabinet still had not filed a submission to Parliament on personnel appointments, including on the appointment of Saakashvili.
