a vote on the amendments in the Constitution ended in the regions of southern Russia with a voter turnout of over 70 percent.

According to the official website of the CEC in the evening of July 1, on the South greatest activity over all days of the vote showed the people of Dagestan (87 %) and Karachaevo-Circassian Republic (83%).

In the Volgograd region the number of voters who visited the sites was 77%, in the Rostov region – 75%, in Ingushetia – 74%.

In Kalmykia and the Astrakhan region on the amendments voted by 69 % of voters.

According to preliminary data of the CEC processed more than 30 percent of protocols of precinct election commissions, with the approval of the amendments voted 87.5% of the vote in Dagestan, 84% – in Volgograd region and 82 % in the Astrakhan region.
