Speed mobile apps, Telegram is expected to grow after unlocking messenger. This was announced by the founder of the messenger, Pavel Durov on his official channel.

"Should increase the stability and speed of the mobile apps Telegram on the territory of Russia [as a result unlock]. Will also be available without VPN direct web links to the channels and Telegram services, which will lead to an increase in the number of participants and the chat channels," he wrote.

In Russia allowed Telegram

Durov also noted that unlocking Telegram in Russia does not mean that users of messenger will lose the right to privacy and secrecy of personal correspondence.

"In terms of security of personal data changes – the right to privacy and secrecy of personal correspondence remains a fundamental principle of Telegram in all countries," he said.

In addition, according to Durov, Telegram unlock "will be a good signal for IT-entrepreneurs and investors".

"Such actions by the Russian authorities in this and other areas are encouraging. We hope that the positive trend will be maintained, and Russia will be able to realize its potential in the digital sphere," he said.
