Two years ago, the largest car manufacturer in Europe, AVTOVAZ, on the one hand, continued planned reduction of personnel, and on the other – faced with a shortage of engineers, designers and designers versed in the auto industry. The plant was in need of specialists to work in difficult conditions: the manufacturer, then actively developed and put on the conveyor new model: the plan was enormous, and the enterprise was implemented the full cycle of creation of the car – from idea and concept to putting it on the conveyor.
After the treatment plant in Samara universities have developed for AVTOVAZ targeted training program students. Samara Polytechnic trains students aiming for the engineering center of AVTOVAZ. New realities dictate different needs, and the University quite successfully cope with the diversification of training programs. And more than three dozen years, future engineers of the Samara University are trained at the Baikonur and Plesetsk and get, without exaggeration, a unique experience.
With the engine-building plant “Kuznetsov”, which also operates in the aerospace sector, the University produces promising gas turbine engines. Specially in Samara University is created design Bureau engine, which will work the best students – they will help scientists to search for new engineering solutions for the company.
