China’s Wuhan, which was the focus of the spread coronavirus infection, declared the area a low risk. New status of the city on Saturday, April 18, according to the headquarters for prevention and controlling the spread of COVID-19 Hubei province, RIA Novosti reported.

“throughout Wuhan, the level of risk is low, the province is not the cities and counties with high or medium level of risk”, — stated in the message.

So, today in Hubei 76 cities and counties with low-risk and no — medium and high. All 13 districts of Wuhan were also recognized as areas with low risk.

To determine the level of epidemic risk, the city authorities introduced a special scale. Thus, the low risk zones are localities where there was not a single infected pneumonia COVID-19, or 14 consecutive days did not appear new patients.

Areas with medium risk are those where for the last 14 days have been recorded cases of infection, however, their total number for two weeks did not exceed 50. It also took place, where over this period there were more than 50 cases, but was not recorded group and mass infections.

If 14 days recorded more than 50 cases, including a group of infection, such counties, cities and districts have the status of areas with a high degree of risk.

Limitations of Wuhan, was removed on April 7, after 76 days of quarantine. The city was closed from January 23. Transport links, including subway cars and ferries, was completely stopped. Airport and train station was not functioning. Residents could leave Wuhan only by special permission.
