Since June 8, they can perform a regular flight to China (or country) once a week – you have to choose an airport to “attach” from the list approved by the Chinese aviation authorities. The same carriers who March still retained a limited ability to fly in China, will increase the quota up to two flights per week.

according to Reuters, applications for resumption of flights will be able to apply 95 airlines in the world. The Chinese side hopes that on 8 June the number of international flights through the China will increase by at least 50, and in the best case, at 150 flights a week. And if today the country is arriving an average of three thousand passengers a day, next week, there will be nearly five thousand. The foreign side will be able to take Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu and even the Wuhan – a total of 37 airports in different cities of the country. The transportation must comply with strict sanitary regulations. If the Board identifies five passengers test positive for the coronavirus, the airline will be obliged to suspend flights for a week. If infected will be ten or more, then for a whole month.

Beijing announced this decision on the background of aggravation of the aviation dispute with the United States. The administration trump threatened from 16 June to ban four Chinese carriers to fly to the United States if China does not make concessions. Before that, the Chinese side, we recall, denied the applications of American Airlines, United Airlines and Delta Airlines.

Meanwhile, some European countries have resumed communication with China. So, on may 29, the German “Lufthansa” for the first time sent a Charter flight from Frankfurt to Tianjin. However, passengers were not tourists, but about two hundred workers and their families – citizens of Germany and other EU countries. Basically we are talking about employees of a major German automaker, which has branches in China. After arrival they were waiting for a 14-day quarantine. A one-way ticket cost of 2,500 euros.

According to Bloomberg, China is ready for the same scheme to establish business communication with France, Britain, Switzerland, Japan, Singapore and South Korea. Earlier, the head of the German interior Minister Horst Seehofer has not excluded, that from June 15 Germany, in turn, will start regular flights from epidemiologically “safe regions”of China.
