According to the Agency, the FSB formally charged the suspect under article 275 of the criminal code (“treason”) which provides till 20 years of imprisonment. As reported by the source of the newspaper “Kommersant”, the Colonel could pass the security Service of Ukraine data on movement of persons within the area of the soldiers and military machinery. In particular, in Kiev showed interest in the movements of the Buk missile system, the armament of the 53rd antiaircraft missile brigade, stationed in the Kursk region.
About the detention Borzenkova FSB became known on 22 June. Lefortovo court of Moscow arrested the suspect for two months until August 18.
Dmitry Borzenkov was born in Kursk. The police came to serve in 1998. In 2003 Borzenkov graduated from the Orel law Institute of Ministry of internal Affairs. He was awarded medals “For distinction in service” of three degrees, “For valour in service”. As the newspaper notes, Borzenkov repeatedly encouraged by management, disciplinary action had not.
