APU Marines conducted exercises in the Black sea

Marines of the Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) conducted exercises in the Black sea, reported the press service of the General staff APU.

To the official Facebook of the armed forces States that “in the Black sea using the vessel “Shostka” was secured by the landing of marine units”.

“Getting a proper job, “Shostka” made the transition to the sea in the specified area of the Black sea. The crew was organized debarkation of the personnel of the troops that brought on unequipped shore (…) high-speed boats like Willard. The event was held in accordance with the plan of combat training of naval forces of armed forces of Ukraine”, – said the press service.

During the exercise, Marines also conducted live firing on moving targets, “the tasks the sailors performed successfully”.

Earlier, the Ukrainian government decided not to hold international exercises because of the pandemic coronavirus. On Thursday, the press service of the armed forces announced postponement for an indefinite period a number of multinational military exercises that were planned on the territory of Ukraine, reports TASS.

In 2020 in the country was planned Ukrainian-American exercises Rapid Trident-2020 and Sea Breeze 2020, the Moldovan-Ukrainian maneuvers “Yug-2020”, the Ukrainian-Romanian exercises Riverain 2020 and the Ukrainian-British Warrior Watcher-2020.
