Abkhazia to accept Russian tourists only in the presence of the inquiry on absence of a coronavirus. Such a condition is indicated in the recommendations of the sanitary-epidemiological service of the Republic on the organization of work of leisure facilities to keep risks spread COVID-19, reports “Interfax”.
As stated in the document, references, which should bring the vacationers must be made not later than three days before arrival. This summer they will require all units of Abkhazia: hotels, hotels, guest houses, and resorts.
It is also noted that in a pandemic hoteliers of the Republic recommended to settle in a hotel for one person or one family in the room.
Earlier it was reported that Abkhazia will be one of the first countries ready to take the Russians during a pandemic coronavirus. Also in the list announced by the Executive Director of the Association of tour operators of Russia (ATOR) Maya Lomidze, entered Turkey, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Maldives, Croatia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
In the context of a pandemic on the border of Abkhazia with Russia since March, there are restrictions on the entry of foreigners and persons without citizenship, except for diplomats and Russian military as well as drivers engaged in international cargo transportation.
In July, the President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania has sent a letter to the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail mishustina, where he expressed a willingness to remove restrictions with observance of necessary sanitary-epidemiological measures. Currently, according to Bzhaniya, between representatives of the parties to the consultations at the governmental level.
