Living in Israel the Russian Yael Ilinski managed three times to vote on the amendments to the Constitution of Russia. Under Russian law, the woman could face for this criminal punishment, said the Interfax Secretary of the CEC, Maya Grishina.

Secretary of the CEC described the actions Ilinski as abuse of their right. She explained that at the moment, overseas there is no single electronic lists, because there is a possibility that the same person can fill several newsletters on different sites.

“Otherwise we would not have been able to organize the voting abroad,” said Grishina, and added that the CEC based on the fact that the majority of voters will behave in good faith.

the Secretary also warned about criminal responsibility for illegal issuance and receipt of the newsletter that just serves as an insurance against multiple voting. In such a case, there is an article 142.2 of the criminal code, which provides for a fine of up to 300 thousand rubles or imprisonment for up to three years.

Previously, Yael Ilinsky told the media that the three were able to participate in voting on amendments to the Constitution, to cast a vote in the Russian Embassy in tel Aviv, the Consulate in Haifa, as well as remote way. According to the woman, none of the Embassy was checked, recorded on electronic voting.
