In the framework of the world food programme of the UN, Russia has sent 10 million dollars for school feeding in Cuba and Nicaragua. This was reported by the press attache of the Russian Embassy in Havana Leonid Lagunovskiy, reports TASS.

The allocated funds will be spent on the implementation of school feeding programmes on the basis of national production and agriculture, said the press attache.

Earlier, the President of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Kanel ‘ reported that in the framework of socio-economic strategy in the context of the pandemic in the country has canceled a 10 percent tax on the U.S. dollar.
