She also drew attention to ejednevno decreasing the number of new detected cases of infection. However, this, according to her, does not mean that you need to “fall into euphoria”. Restrictive measures should be removed gradually, warned Popov.

In Russia there was no overload of the health system due to the spread of coronavirus, said the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.

“We prevented the explosion, we managed to overload our healthcare organizations, our healthcare system, it worked, it’s quite obvious,” she said in the program “Sunday night with Vladimir Solovyov” on TV channel “Russia 1”, adding that the health system is slowly beginning to clear.

The head of Rospotrebnadzor added that in Russia as a whole reduced the number of daily diagnosed cases of coronavirus. Thus, according to the head of Department, did not come true, none of the “scary predictions” for the spread of the disease among Russians.

Popov also drew attention to the fact that it is impossible to “fall into euphoria” — should gradually remove restrictive measures.

“Today it is important to go carefully, and we do. The main thing to be excited not to fall in . All measures worked so that the bulk of the population was not affected by the virus. The number affected by it is very low, in the proportion of one of the smallest in the world,” added the Minister.

“44 the subject — more than half in Russia — have reason to begin the first phase of the [lifting of restrictions] today or tomorrow,” she assured, noting that on may 11, the day of the exit of non-working days, only nine Russian regions were ready to begin this process.

May 20, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin noted that the first phase of the removal of restrictions can start all 17 regions of the country.

“the Forecast and Outlook of today’s changes is quite stable and prosperous. This is due to the fact that we, when out of the mode of working days 11 number of introduced new evaluation criteria of transition to the first stage, we have a coefficient of distribution — how one infected person can infect people up to the moment of its isolation — were less than unity or equal to unity only in nine subjects. Today it is less than one in 27 subjects and in 17 subjects it is equal to the unit,” — said Popov.

She noted that one of the major components of the low mortality observed in Russia, is the experience and knowledge epidemiologists.

She also drew attention to the work of the doctors and the involvement of the government in solving the problem.

“first, the school system of sanitary and epidemiological, which remained. Second, the unprecedented dedication of the Russian doctors, and this should be noted. We have people working in the “red zone” for days and not even because they pay, and exactly because they need to save,” — said Popov.

At the same time, she noted that there have been cases where doctors risked their health, infected by, when “provided emergency aid to the patient, not having to dress up [in a suit]”.

In the program on “Russia 1” the head of Rospotrebnadzor also said that among those who are recovering from illness at home, no registered deaths.

According to her, this is because the medical service is attentive to the wellbeing of citizens.

The Minister also noted that Russia is not falsified statistics.

“We are one of the few, the only country that makes a diagnosis on the results of postmortem examination of all the [fatal] cases. We have such a rule. And this eliminates the possibility of mistakes,” she said.
