Mosaic with the image of top officials, including the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, to the Patriarchal Cathedral in honor of Christ’s Resurrection in the Park "Patriot" in Kubinka, which has the status of the main temple of the Russian Armed forces, reworked in the Studio-factory and image of the first persons of the state will be removed from it. This was reported by TASS on Friday, the Chairman of the Synodal Department for cooperation with Armed forces and law enforcement agencies of the Moscow Patriarchate, Bishop of Klin Stefan (halts).

"Mosaic with Vladimir Putin was not in the temple. In the workshop where it was made, it is now undone. As for the consecration – date unknown. On may 6, the planned handover ceremony builders completed work on the main temple of the Armed forces of the Russian Federation", – TASS said Bishop Stefan.
Chairman of the Expert Council on Church art, architecture and restoration of the Russian Orthodox Church Archpriest Leonid Kalinin, who also heads the arts Council for the construction of the main temple of the Russian Armed forces, told TASS on Friday that the elements of the puzzle, which will not be included in the composition for the Church, will be saved.
"Mosaic saved for the Museum and history. In the temple, in memory of the historic event – the bloodless return of the Crimea Russia, is a picture of the procession with the Korsun icon of the Mother of God", – said the Archpriest.
Earlier in the Internet appeared photos in which, allegedly, was captured elements of the interior of the temple. In particular, the shots were visible fragments of the mosaic with the image of Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as a number of other political figures of modern Russia and Joseph Stalin. Press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov, on 26 April told TASS that the President knows about the mosaic with his image, but believes that it is too early therefore to assess his work.
On 30 April, the newspaper "Kommersant", citing its own sources, reported that the mosaic image of President Vladimir Putin in a newly built Cathedral in Kubinka dismantled.
