Kununu presents the Best Workplace Award with the Industrial Association Office and Working World e.V. (IBA). The award honors employers with the best working conditions and recognizes companies that place particular value on the well-being of their employees.

The last few years have taught us one thing: Good working conditions go beyond the four walls of the office space – home office regulations and remote work are becoming increasingly important in many industries.

Therefore, the Best Workplace Award 2022 not only recognizes small and medium-sized enterprises and large companies in the “Working Conditions” category, but also employers who master “hybrid working” particularly well.

Together with the IBA, Kununu presented the “Best Workplace Award 2022” in the German-speaking area and conducted surveys about the furnishings, lighting conditions, acoustics, climate, technology, design and atmosphere.

A total of five stars could be achieved. In order to be included in the ranking of the top employers, a number of criteria had to be met.

Platz 1: CamperBoys

The company CamperBoys from Munich secured first place in the top 10 SMEs this year. CamperBoys was founded in 2016 with the aim of making camping possible for everyone by renting out fully equipped camping buses. The idea worked: The company now offers over 380 campers at six different locations.

The employees report on kununu about the modern and attractive locations, where attention is not only paid to the well-being of customers, but also to a positive working atmosphere for employees thanks to state-of-the-art facilities, the latest technical equipment, high-quality tables and office chairs, and windows in every one Space for daylight and fresh air, air conditioning and free food such as coffee or snacks.

There are also plenty of opportunities for relaxation and fun: During breaks, colleagues can spend time playing table football or simply on a comfortable couch. But see for yourself, the Camper Boys introduce themselves in the video and give you an insight into their working conditions:

CamperBoys also offers its employees some attractive benefits:

Platz 1: Coca-Cola HBC Austria GmbH

Coca-Cola HBC Austria GmbH took first place among the large companies this year. The main location is in beautiful Vienna. From there, the entire Austrian market is supplied with Coca-Cola products. The company employs around 900 people in Austria – in modern production and logistics centers as well as in regional sales centers and distribution centers.

The Coca-Cola HBC Austria in Vienna offers its employees a bright and friendly open-plan office with the latest equipment. The open work space promotes interaction and collaboration and if you want to withdraw, there are enough lounges. The technology is state-of-the-art, e.g. B. laptops, company cell phones or pool cars as well as noise isolation in the office. The beverage manufacturer also provides its employees with refreshments from its own product range and free snacks. Congratulations to Coca-Cola HBC Austria for the gold medal in this category.

These benefits are mentioned most frequently in the reviews of Coca-Cola HBC Austria:

The “Best Hybrid Working” category goes to CamperBoys GmbH, who thus turn out to be the winners of two categories. The employer not only offers its employees the best possible feel-good factor in the office space, but also supports them in working from their own four walls. Thanks to flexible home office regulations, cost subsidies for remote working and voluntary “workations”, there are hardly any limits to the freedom of employees.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s an office or a home office – CamperBoys GmbH provides the necessary technical equipment and gives its employees the greatest possible personal responsibility. According to a kununu assessment by the CamperBoys, this leads to independent work and trust in the management. No wonder the working atmosphere is rated 5 out of 5 stars on kununu! Congratulations to the CamperBoys for the double gold medal!
