The correspondent of the First channel Alexey Kruchinin answered the inquiry of the Belarusian TV channel BT-1, which allegedly exposes the stories of journalists about the situation with the coronavirus in the country. He published a detailed refutation in Facebook.

The investigation of the Belarusian channel aired the evening of may 6 and lasted for 18 minutes. BT-1 called the story of the First channel “information attack” on the Republic. Kruchinin described in detail all issues and accusations and refuted them. In his opinion, after the broadcast of the BT-1 the audience went to the First website that made the channel good publicity.

The journalist said that many Belarusians have written him letters of support.

“colleagues from the BT-1, the bottom punched you. And we just honestly did their job — as always. Much could be told about the real situation in the country, but as they say, the ether is not elastic,” concluded Kruchinin.

On may 6, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Belarus has deprived of accreditation of Kruchinina and operator Sergey Panasyuk. The reason of such decision the foreign Ministry of Belarus is not known. The journalist was deported after the preparation of a series of stories about the situation of coronavirus in the country.

According to the Johns Hopkins University on may 14, in the coronavirus in the country has infected 25 825 thousand people killed 146.

Earlier the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has repeatedly accused the Russian media of bias. He asked journalists and authors anonymous Telegram-channels from Russia, which “plavusa” (shoot the breeze), not to touch the Republic.
