Elections of the Governor of the Khabarovsk Krai will be held in a single voting day in 2021, said to RIA Novosti, the CEC member Yevgeny Shevchenko.
State Duma Deputy Mikhail Degtyarev in conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday agreed to become acting Governor of the Khabarovsk territory.
"subject to the deadlines prescribed by law, the election of the Governor of the Khabarovsk Krai will pass in the uniform voting day in the following year, together with the elections of state Duma deputies of the eighth convocation", – said Shevchenko.
He added that the polling day scheduled for 19 September.
The Governor of Khabarovsk territory Sergey Furgal was arrested on 9 July. He is charged with involvement in the activities of local criminal gangs and the killings in 2000-ies.
