the Number of Russian-speaking doctors killed during combat in cov is increasing. This, in particular, can be judged on the created website with the names of workers who died during the pandemic. This site is open access, which was created by the doctors, and where you can enter the name of the man burned at work. Simply fill out a form where you have to specify the name, region, city, hospital, age, profession, date of death and give their feedback.

the Sad list was created by doctors, to perpetuate the memory of colleagues who died from COVID-19 or complications with infection during a pandemic.

– we are approached with a question about why this or that person included in the list, although he didn’t get it at work or sick another severe disease. Task list — to preserve the memory of our fallen colleagues, but not to the correct statistics. The correct statistics are official, they may share dead on right and wrong, who test positive or negative, the sick and the healthy, late applicants on time applicants, violated the mode and sitting at home – explain the creators of the site. We include in the list, guided by simple criteria: (1) health worker, (2) died during the outbreak from causes connected with KOVID-19, even if the diagnosis is not confirmed by the tests or it is superimposed on other serious diseases. To judge, who before infection was so bad that it is not worthy of inclusion in the list, we will not. To share dead on front and dead in the rear, also will not. We may be wrong, but the problem here is worse than the error of the second kind.

At the time of April 25 in the list of 29 names, on 28 April, they already 72. The list includes medical workers from Russia and Belarus.

the creators of the site do not advertise myself. “We don’t want to say because it’s not about us. It’s about fallen colleagues. And in order that the press was able to call in those hospitals where the victims worked, and to pay tribute to the doctors – heroes”.
