More than 90 Russians returned on July 20 home flight Yerevan – Rostov-on-don, in conditions of limited air traffic due to measures to combat the spread of coronavirus, was reported in the press service of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Armenia.

The diplomatic mission noted that after receiving information about the impending export flight for the Armenian citizens on the route Yerevan – Rostov-on-don – Yerevan, the Embassy has studied the possibility of use of flights for the return of Russians to their homeland.

"was received the necessary approvals from the Russian regional authorities, ministries and departments, as well as the operational headquarters of the government of Russia. In the end, we are pleased to announce that on 20 July the specified flight home was able to return 95 Russians", – stated in the message posted on the Embassy page in Facebook.

According to the Embassy, in total, the integrated work was exported from Armenia 2716 people.

"the Work to return the Russians home continues" – said the Embassy.

Russia on the background of the pandemic coronavirus as of March 27, stopped regular and Charter flights with other countries. With the exception of export routes, as well as the cargo, postal, health and humanitarian flights, stretches of empty planes to maintenance, transit flights with a landing to refuel or change crew in Russia and the flights carried out by separate decisions of the government of the Russian Federation.
