The Chinese authorities have placed 95 Russians fishing trawler "SEAWIND-1" quarantined due to suspected coronavirus infection in one of the sailors. On Thursday told the correspondent of TASS by telephone third Secretary of the Consulate General of Russia in Shenyang (Liaoning province, northeast China) Anton Isakov.

"June 26, the ship stopped at the port of Dalian, and the passage of control procedures the crew members were taken tests for coronavirus. In the blood of one of our sailors was discovered antibodies to the infection. On this basis, the local authorities decided on the conduct of quarantine measures in respect of personnel of the vessel, as there is a risk that the sailor could have at sea, and accordingly there is the possibility of infection came into contact with him of the Russians," he said.

"For this reason, of the 95 people who were on the ship, 71 went ashore. One of them, who was discovered to have antibodies, is in the hospital №6 of the city of Dalian, and the remaining 70 are in quarantine at the hotel "Sea horizon". Since the ship to leave without the team is impossible, it was decided that the minimum crew stayed on it. As noted by the employee of the Consulate, the ship initially came to Dalian for repairs. He is now at one of the local shipyards. According to him, the sailor, who was discovered to have antibodies, "feels good, no visible symptoms of the disease have no". The representative of the Consulate General added that the sailors took the test for the coronavirus before going to sea. Probably a sailor might have to transfer the infection, for this reason he had created antibodies to it.
