Iran has launched into space the first military satellite

Iran on Wednesday brought into orbit its first military satellite, called Noor. This was reported by the Islamic revolutionary guard Corps (the elite part of the Iranian armed forces).

According to the Agency Mehr, the device launched to a height of 425 km with booster Qased. Other details are not given.

Iran had produced February 9, the launch of the carrier rocket with the satellite of its own production of Zafar, but he did not go into orbit. It was assumed that the facility will be launched to a height of 530 km. the Minister of information and communication technologies of the country Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi said that in the near future, Tehran will try to launch new satellite Zafar-2.
