The whole world after the pandemic COVID will accept the new rules and learn to live by them, many of them already in operation – for example, wearing masks and gloves, social distance, said in an interview with RIA Novosti, the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

"I think that, of course, a lot will be different. But I want to note that when we say "different", yet I hope that we do not mean that it will be worse. "different" does not always mean "bad". "different" means that we have to accept new rules and adapt to them. We – all citizens of the world. And these new rules will be developed globally", – said Zakharov, talking about how the world will live on long after the pandemic.

She recalled that many of these rules are already in place – and wearing masks, gloves, and social distance.

"This new reality is already around us, so you can have a different meaning to enter, although I’m not sure that the "new normal" sounds great. I would still in Russian is translated as "new norm". I think it sounds better because normality as freshness, is only one. Therefore I’m for that it’s been translated as "new norm". But again I say that we have already mastered a lot more to what was not a few or ten years ago", – said the Agency interlocutor.
