Scientific Director of the hydrometeorological center of Russia Roman Vilfand said that the Russians need not fear a repetition of frosts in July. Earlier weather forecasters predicted a weekend night frost in Bashkiria, Perm and Altai territories, the Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan, Novosibirsk, Tyumen and Omsk regions.
According to Vilfand, this unusual situation ends with frost, as it becomes more sun and the temperature rises. However, the anomaly remains: the temperature in the South of Western Siberia below the norm by 4-6 degrees. But frost won’t be here, as the soil warmed enough. “After all, that was freezing, the air will have cooled and the soil, which is practically impossible”, – quotes the meteorologist RIA Novosti.
Earlier in the Hydrometeorological center reported that in the North of the Asian part of the country will be abnormally warm weather. It was noted that temperature anomalies are up to 16 degrees in the North of Yakutia, up to eight degrees in Chukotka and the North of Krasnoyarsk territory.
