The Minsk agreements are informative and include comprehensive wording, the document requires no comment, said press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.
Peskov said that “for the past few months, it was hard not to pay attention to the consistent policy of Kiev at various levels aimed at, if not a blur, then to expose multiple issues of this document, the Minsk package of measures, a cornerstone of the settlement process”, RIA “Novosti”.
“it’s Hard to say that there can be decrypted, because it’s written quite simply. The document contains a comprehensive formulation. Contacts will continue,” he added.
Earlier the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, situated in the Village of Lugansk together with the President of Switzerland Simonetta Sommaruga, said that Ukraine insists on a detailed explanation of each item of the Minsk agreements, to determine which of them can perform.
On the same day, Russia said the actual Ukraine’s withdrawal from the Minsk agreements.
A day earlier Moscow told the Kyiv to the violation of the Minsk agreements in connection with the adoption of the Verkhovna Rada resolution on holding the October 25 Ukraine local elections.
In the fourth paragraph of the resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of 15 June local elections in Ukraine, in fact, lists all requirements of the official Kiev regarding the possibility of holding elections in the Donbass.
It contains the indication of provisional transfer of Ukrainian control over the joint border with Russia, the need for the withdrawal of all “illegal armed groups” and technology, which refers to the strength of the militia of the DNI and LC, the recovery in the region “of the constitutional order and the rule of law” in accordance with the current laws of Ukraine.
All of these requirements directly contradict the Minsk agreements, providing the region a special status and the holding of elections on terms agreed directly with the representatives of Donbass. Only after that, as indicated in the Minsk agreements, Ukraine must get control of the border.
