Lavrov explained why the EU is not asking for help from Russia

A number of European countries, including NATO members, who would not mind to appeal for help to Russia in connection with the pandemic coronavirus, are not allowed to do "elders", said the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.

According to him, some countries and under conditions of a pandemic trying "to introduce geopolitics".

"the situation with the assistance that Russia provides Italy at the Express request of the Prime Minister, we all know. Not stop some media in Italy, trying to imagine it almost as a military invasion on the territory of the Alliance", – said Lavrov in the "Big game" on the First channel.

"We know from various sources that a number of European countries, the European Union and NATO in particular, which would not mind to go the way of the Italian experience and to contact us for certain types of assistance, which we have good comparative advantage, just not allowed to do the elders," he said.

Italy again asked Russia for help
