The visit of Deputy head of presidential administration of Russia Dmitry Kozak in Berlin has caused concern among the former Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin. This he wrote in Facebook.

According to the former diplomat, the visit was "negative case" for his country.

"that something is going on through our head, we are to blame: when our partners in the press find out about what is happening in the settlement process, in particular about the idea of creating an Advisory Board is, to put it mildly, "inspires", — said Klimkin

He admitted that he was very concerned that the negotiations were not on the phone, and it "demonstrates the need for discussion of sensitive topics." The former Minister suggested that Germany wanted to give Ukraine a signal that it should stay "Norman format" and "not involved" bilateral contacts.

Klimkin also said that the next six months, it is Germany holds the EU presidency and this country will affect the agenda in the unit. In addition, the former head of the Ukrainian diplomacy suggested that the meeting in the German capital discussed the possibility of bypassing US sanctions against "Nord stream — 2".

"overall, the picture we have formed unsympathetic", — said Klimkin.

Earlier an informed source told RIA Novosti that Kozak arrived on Wednesday with one-day working visit to Berlin at the invitation of the German side to discuss settlement of the conflict in the South-East of Ukraine, as well as a meeting with assistant foreign Affairs of German Chancellor Angela Merkel by Jan Hecker. Sam Kozak said after that the talks with the German side on the settlement of the internal Ukrainian conflict in the Donbas were constructive and proceeded in a business-like manner.

The head of the foreign Ministry of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba, in turn, said that "no games behind it is not" as Kiev previously reported on the negotiations.
