More than 11.4 thousand places for students will appear in Russian universities. The allocation will take into account the ranking of the University.
We observed a significant concentration of talented students in the capital’s universities, says Minister of science and higher education Valery Falkov. Our aim is to make higher education better and more available throughout the country. The increase in the number of budget places is one of the many measures to support students.
According to Falkova, the most capable and prepared students should have the opportunity to enroll in a budget place first in their region.
– every year the quantity of budgetary places will be increased, – said the Minister.
