A month after announcing her pregnancy, US pop singer Britney Spears lost her unborn child through a miscarriage. “It is with deepest sadness that we announce the loss of our miracle baby early in pregnancy,” the 40-year-old singer and her 28-year-old partner Sam Asghari wrote on Instagram on Saturday.
Spears only announced her pregnancy again on April 11. Despite all attempts to lose weight, she gained weight and thought: “Oh dear … What happened to my stomach?” She wrote on Instagram at the time. She then took a pregnancy test, “and uhhhhh… I’m having a baby.”
Spears already has two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline: 16-year-old Sean and 15-year-old Jayden. Her ex-husband has custody of the two teenagers.
