A whole club like on a cloud. With one or the other in the HSV environment, the euphoria seems to be so great that it gets a little confused.
Already on Sunday, a few hours after the 3: 2 in Rostock, with which the club made it clear that it would participate in the relegation, the first congratulations on promotion were posted a little prematurely – and of all things by the new shirt sponsor “HanseMerkur”…
“HanseMerkur congratulates HSV on their promotion to the Bundesliga,” the company said on Instagram, posting a photo of a jubilant “Dino Hermann”. In proper style, of course, in the HSV jersey with the company’s lettering. After this season, the insurance group will replace “Orthomol” and become the club’s main sponsor for three years.
It goes without saying that a rise would be just the right thing to further increase awareness. It can still come. The congratulations were a bit hasty though. After the faux pas was exposed, the post was quickly removed.
HSV took the matter with a smile. After all, the new partner is obviously firmly convinced of the rise, there are worse things, it said with a wink from the Volkspark.
