A judge at the Copenhagen city Court on Monday decided to varetægtsfængsle 26-year-old man in the provisional 23 days.

For the third time, police on Monday tried to get a 26-year-old terrorsigtet man in custody. And it has succeeded.

At a court hearing in the Copenhagen city Court has a judge decided to varetægtsfængsle him in the provisional 23 days.

He is charged in two terrorsager, which came to public knowledge in the context of a coordinated police action in december.

It informs vicepolitiinspektør Brian Belling from the Copenhagen Police.

the Man was in december arrested, brought before a judge and charged for attempting to acquire weapons that would be used for a terrorist act.

It had been along with several medgerningsmænd.

Then selected the judge, however, to release him due to a weak evidence by the police.

on Friday last week, was the man again appeared before a judge in Copenhagen after being arrested in Aalborg, denmark the same morning.

This time he said the charges that he and others had prepared in the manufacture of one or more bombs, which were to be used for the purposes of terrorism in Denmark or abroad.

But also in the case was the police evidence of thin, considered the judge in the Copenhagen city Court. However, would the judge did not immediately let the 26-year-old man go. Instead, it was his arrest maintained for three days.

Monday, the terrorsigtede so been before a judge yet again. And this time is the hearing – in contrast to the previous – i.e. they ended with, that he has been remanded in custody.

the Status is that the 26-year-old man is now charged in the terrorsag, acting on the purchase of weapons, and the case is about making bombs.

During Monday’s hearing had the prosecution the opportunity to present the latest information in the case.

But when grundlovsforhøret held behind closed doors, the public can not understand what evidence or information is put forward.

The past three days – during the extended arrest – has the Police just had the opportunity to strengthen bevisgrundlaget against the man.

When a judge decides to maintain an arrest in three days, this is because they deem that the police should have the opportunity to take further steps in the investigation, before the court gives its decision.

It can be, for example, in cases where the man is awaiting a reply from a technical study or lack to interrogate a witness.

Six people have already imprisoned in the two terrorsager, and have been since december, where police arrested some 20 persons.

Only five men and a woman ended up at that time to be imprisoned.
