Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, took aim Tuesday at Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.). He called her “Senator Karen” after she said that he doesn’t pay taxes and is “freeloading on everyone else”.

Warren tweeted, “Let’s modify the rigged tax code to ensure The Person of Year will actually pay taxes” and attacked Musk, who was named Time Person of Year for 2021 Monday.

Musk responded, “Stop Projecting,” citing a 2019 opinion piece by Bradley Blakeman that categorized Warren as a “fraud” after her claims of Native American ancestry.

Musk, the world’s wealthiest man, said that “You remind me about when I was a child and my friend’s mad Mom would randomly yell at everybody for no reason.” “Please don’t call Senator Karen the manager.

Musk also responded to Warren’s claims that he doesn’t pay taxes. He tweeted: “And, if you open your eyes for 2 second, you would see I will pay more taxes this year than any American in American history.”

Musk said in another tweet, “Don’t spend all of it at once… Oh wait, you did already.”

Warren isn’t the only senator who has been subject to backlash from Musk.

Musk tweeted in November to Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders’s demand that the wealthy “pay your fair share.” He wrote: “I keep forgetting, that you’re still living.”

This tweet was in response to Sanders’s Twitter comment, “We must demand the extremely wealthy pay their fair shares.” Period.”

Musk is now the chief executive at Tesla, with a net worth exceeding $260 billion.
