On January 25, the implementation of the pilot project “My Sports District” begins in six districts of Moscow. Weekly free training sessions have been prepared for local residents at sports grounds near the house. The classes will teach skating, cardio or multi-functional training. You can join the project with the whole family.

The project was organized by the Moscow Department of Sports together with the centers of public services “My documents” and the project “Healthy Moscow”.

Everyone who has a QR code (vaccinated with two components, who has been ill with COVID-19 over the past year) or a negative PCR test valid for two days will be able to attend classes.

The pilot project will be held in six districts of Moscow: Solntsevo (CJSC), Mitin (NWAO), Maryina (SWAO), Yasenev (SWAO), Koptev and Begov (SAO). In the future, the organizers plan to connect other districts of the capital to it.

There will be a single schedule of classes for three types of training at 10 sports grounds. Adults are invited to multi-functional training on Tuesdays at 19:00. On Saturdays at 14:00 you can join the winter cardio. For families with children, family sports classes will start every Sunday at 14:00.

Six ice rinks will also be involved in the project. On the ice, training sessions will take place once a week – on Sundays at 16:00. Participants over the age of 10 will be able not only to learn how to skate, but also to master various elements and exercises.

The classes will be conducted by qualified coaches of the Moscow City Sports.

The duration of each workout is 60 minutes. For classes, you need a sports uniform, as well as elastic bands and a bottle of water.

You can find out more details and join the My Sports District project on the website, as well as in all public service centers in the capital. Specialists of the My Documents offices will help those who wish to fill out a questionnaire on the website.
