After a two-year break due to Corona, the 23rd World Business Dialogue will take place on June 9th and 10th, 2022. Main topic this year: digital leadership. In addition to inspiring lectures by renowned personalities from the scientific and business world, there will again be the opportunity to discuss aspects of digital leadership in deep dive sessions.

The break lasted two long years, but now it’s that time again: On June 9th and 10th, 2022, the 23rd World Business Dialogue will take place in Cologne. The congress will be organized again this year by the Organisationsforum Wirtschaftskongress (OfW), a non-profit limited company founded and managed by Cologne students in 1984.

The Organisationsforum Wirtschaftskongress (OfW), organizer of the World Business Dialogue, was founded in 1984 by a group of students in Cologne. Then as now, the goal is to bring together selected international and German students, global companies, renowned politicians and scientists. To this end, the OfW organizes the annual World Business Dialogue at the University of Cologne. The cornerstones of our congress are: Intergenerational exchange, interactive formats and discussions at eye level true to our vision of creating a dialogue between leaders of today and leaders of tomorrow.

The business congress serves as a platform for an intergenerational exchange between executives and students. This year with a focus on digital leadership. As at the last events, well-known speakers from business and science will speak at the 23rd edition of the congress. The speakers include:

The core of the World Business Dialogue are the four thematic Deep Dive Sessions. From CEOs to students, the participants discuss individual aspects of digital leadership in small groups, such as “War for Talents – How to win as an organization?” or “Shaping Structures – Becoming a Digital Leader as a Company”.

Tareq Hübener, Managing Director of the Organizational Forum Economic Congress, explains this. “We are in the midst of digital disruption. Moore’s Law, i.e. exponential growth in computing power, new work and the increasingly intense competition for the most sought-after talents are putting companies under pressure – especially when it comes to their management concepts. No industry, no company and no manager can escape the concept of digital leadership”.
