Moscow entered the top 10 best cities in the world in the ranking of the fastest growing cities Cities in Motion the business school of the University of Navarra (IESE). This was reported by Deputy Moscow mayor for economic policy and property and land relations Vladimir Yefimov.

The rankings experts take into account the number of public and private schools and also business schools, universities, museums, galleries and theatres. Efimov noted that in the category "human capital" Moscow competes with Tokyo, Chicago and other major cities.

In the category of "urban planning" for the year rose from 22nd to 6th place. In this category compares items belopoeica and indicators of development of high-rise and low-rise buildings. Under this category, the capital city was in the top 10 along with London, new York, Washington.

Moscow has also improved its performance in the categories of "social cohesion", "international relations and image" and "environment". Rating Cities in Motion appreciates the quality of life in 174 cities in all regions of the world. This year, Moscow took the 87th place.

Head of Department of economic policy and city development Cyril Purtov noted that the city evaluated for Economics, human capital, social cohesion, environment, governance, urban planning, international relations and image, technology, transport system.

Earlier it was reported that Moscow was included in top 20 most promising technological cities in Europe. The rating Tech Cities of the Future 2020/21 was compiled for the first time.
