a resident of the village Gremyachinsk in Buryatia attacked a 92-year veteran in the Victory Day and stole his medal and presented the district’s three thousand rubles. This was reported on the website of the Department of MIA of Russia for the Republic.

the Victim went to the police on may 9 and told that it was his 52-year-old friend and began to demand money. After they refused, he took lay on the table with a commemorative medal which the veteran was awarded this morning, and ran out into the yard. The pensioner followed him and demanded the return of the award. Simultaneously, he tried to hide three thousand rubles, which is well received in the morning.

the Assailant saw the veteran kept his money, knocked him to the ground and took the package of bills, then fled. The man was detained within the hour, he was drunk. He took the medal and some money, and then returned to the pensioner. The police opened a criminal case under part 2 of article 161 of the criminal code (“Robbery”).

In January of this year two residents of the Pskov region killed 93-year-old veteran for the theft of the suitcase, which turned out to be an old linen. Criminals suggested that women have accumulated a large amount of money and had agreed to Rob her. They got to her apartment through the window, beat to death her feet, took the suitcase and disappeared. Later it turned out that the value of the suitcase along with the contents evaluated were less than 2 thousand rubles. Criminal case under article 162 of the criminal code (“Robbery”) and article 105 (“Murder”).
