The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov, who arrived in Vladivostok on a working visit, took part in the opening of the branch of the University of the Prosecutor’s Office – the Far Eastern Law Institute. This was reported to” RG ” by the press service of the prosecutor’s office of the Primorsky Territory.

The order to create a branch of the university was given by the Prosecutor General of Russia a year ago.

– I am very pleased that it was implemented in such a short time. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to solving this difficult task. The history of the new institute is just beginning, but I am sure that it will continue the best traditions of departmental education and the higher law school of the country, ” Igor Krasnov said at the grand opening of the branch.

He handed student tickets to the first-year students, noting that this set was the first in everything. So, today’s students will be the first graduate of the Far Eastern branch of the University of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation in a few years.

The university is also designed to improve the skills of the prosecutor’s office staff in the strategically important area of supervisory work in the field of the military-industrial complex.

The educational institution is located in the very center of the Far Eastern capital – the former building of the Far Eastern Federal University, once the Vladivostok Commercial School, where the writer Alexander Fadeev studied in 1913-1919.

During his visit to Vladivostok, Igor Krasnov met with the staff of the Primorsky Krai Prosecutor’s Office, outlined priority areas in the work of the supervisory authority, and laid a wreath at the memorial complex “Combat Glory of the Red Banner Pacific Fleet”. On September 3, the Prosecutor General of Russia will take part in the VI Eastern Economic Forum in the session “National jurisdiction and trust in international relations as a guarantor of attracting investment”.
