A special project “Moscow: Immersion” dedicated to the 875th anniversary of the capital has been launched on the portal “Learn Moscow”. It will consist of 12 stories about popular spaces, attractions, social environment, the history of the city and much more. 

The first two episodes are already available for viewers: “Moscow green” and “Moscow biker”. They are dedicated to the most picturesque parks and favorite sites of motorcycle enthusiasts. Actors Sergey Burunov and Vyacheslav Manucharov, director of the botanical garden of the Moscow State University “Aptekarsky Ogorod” Alexey Reteyum, as well as motorcycle traveler and blogger Alexander Yunanov, leading soloist of the ballet of the Moscow Academic Musical Theater named after K.S. Stanislavsky and V. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko Alexey Lyubimov starred there.

“Each issue of our joint project with the Department of Information Technology “Moscow: Immersion” is shot in the style of a blogger’s diary and includes at least three locations united by one characteristic subject matter. Among them are “Moscow cinematic”, “Moscow sculptural”, “Moscow musical”, “Moscow youth”, “Moscow architectural”, “Moscow night”, “Moscow digital”, “Moscow artistic“ and ”Moscow gastronomic”. In many plots, you can see objects of cultural heritage that are harmoniously combined with modern architecture and become interesting for residents and guests of the capital of all ages. Museums, concert halls, restaurants are located in them,” said Alexey Yemelyanov, head of the Moscow Department of Cultural Heritage of the City of Moscow.

The following series will appear regularly. They will talk about the Apothecary’s Garden, the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory, the House of the People’s Commissariat of Finance, the Northern River Station, the Spassky Cathedral of the Spaso-Andronikov Monastery and the Khrushchev—Seleznev estate.

“Get to know Moscow” is a joint project of the Departments of Information Technology, Culture, cultural heritage, Education and Science. The portal has published more than 220 routes in different districts of the city. The interactive guide contains photos and descriptions of more than 2.2 thousand buildings, over 670 monuments and 350 museums, as well as information about 334 historical figures.
