Note, the first billion tons of Yugra oil was produced in 1978.

Increasing capacity, the region in the future, almost every three years was producing a billion of black gold.

Fifth billion tons of oil district received in 1990, sixth in 1994, the seventh in 2000. the year 2004 was marked by the production vosmiseriyny tons of oil. 11 billion tons of oil in Yugra produced in 2016.

In 2019, the region received more than 236 million tons of oil. The production drilling meterage amounted to 17 million meters, built 4470 new production wells. In commercial operation introduced five new deposits – on January 1, 2020, there were 485.

Note, Yugra – the main oil-producing region of Russia – it accounts for about 42 percent of the national production.

Resources of the County provide for the energy security of the country, are the basis for the further development of the economic complex of the state.

oil Production in Ugra are 43 enterprises. Their structures are more than 180 thousand people. A leader in oil production by Rosneft, Surgutneftegaz, LUKOIL. If you take in collectively, these companies produce 80.2 per cent of all oil in Yugra.

In 2019, 50 percent of oil production had 14 major fields, each of which produced more than 3 million tons.

the Largest volume of production at the Priobskoye field – 34 million 550 thousand tons. Its development involved the oil company “Rosneft” and “Gazprom Neft”. On the second place in terms of production – the Samotlor field, where the extracted 18 million 413 thousand tons of black gold. Its activity here is “Rosneft”.Third place belongs to the Prirazlomnoye field, developed by Rosneft – 9 million 728 thousand tons. The four leading causes Deposit of the company “Surgutneftegaz” – Fedorovskoe, where last year fetched 9 million 514 thousand tons of oil.

According to experts, in the depths of Ugra is concentrated about 60 percent of current recoverable reserves in Russia.

Reserve to continue the dynamic development and growth of oil production in the region are the deposits of the already exploited deposits, as well as hard-to-recover reserves. A significant volume of the latter is located in the Bazhenov deposits. And their introduction to developing today is a very important industry challenge.

Today in Ugra is actively working on creating conditions for continuous education of qualified professionals. These activities are carried out in close liaison with oil companies and industrial enterprises, technology parks and research institutes. The region cooperates with the Moscow state University, Russian Institute of oil and gas named after Gubkin, Saint-Petborgsten mining University, Kurchatov Institute.

– the Oil industry does not tolerate stops in the development. Oil, like a puzzle, has large resources, but it is equally important to pick up the keys to it, – said the Governor of Ugra Natalia Komarova during the third international youth scientific and practical forum “the Oil capital”. – Yugra, where it is removed every second ton of Russian hydrocarbons, relies on the production of products, such as the petrochemical industry, and human resources. One means of diversification of the main oil consumption we consider the development of low-tonnage oil-gas industry while reducing the negative impacts on the environment through increased usage of associated petroleum gas.

Note that in connection with obtaining 12 billion tons of oil in Khanty-Mansiysk will host the solemn ceremony of commemorative filling the barrel with a mixture of oil produced from fields in oil companies, leading their activities in Ugra. The signatures on this barrel during the third forum “the Oil capital”, held in February in Nizhnevartovsk, left the Governor of Ugra Natalia Komarova, leading experts and employees of the oil and gas industry.

With a production of 12 billion tons of oil of Ugra congratulated the Minister of natural resources and ecology Dmitry Kobylkin.

“More than half a century ago in Western Siberia, Ugra, we made a legendary opening, strengthened the power of the domestic fuel and energy complex, – said in greeting. – Behind – the years of research, invaluable experience, persistence in achieving goals, ahead – still the heroic everyday professional groups in the face of new challenges. Today from the depths of Ugra have learned only half of the available reserves, still the same, and that more than 40% of residual recoverable oil reserves of Russia, Ugra is located in the storerooms. Created in the region’s infrastructure, lessons learned oil and gas companies allow us to consider the Ugra as a nationwide platform for testing and choice of non-standard approaches of increase of efficiency of activities in strategic sectors. Sure, high professionalism and competence of the labour teams of oil and gas companies of the region will help to achieve significant results and to maintain the leading position of oil and gas complex of Yugra”.

Congratulations were received from Russian energy Minister Alexander Novak

“May 2020 is now inscribed in the history of oil and gas complex of Russia as an important “oil frontier”. Today Ugra is not only the land of the “big” oil, the leader of oil production in Russia, but the territory of new opportunities, the industry launching platform for advanced technological solutions – said the head of the Ministrof the Ministry. – Strategic objectives that stand before you, not allow you to relax and encourage the constant expansion of professional competencies, accelerated implementation of the digital and intelligent systems, search non-standard “keys” for the development of the reserves of the Bazhenov formation, large-scale application of modern methodologies and enhanced oil recovery, allowing to stop the decline and stabilize the oil production in the region, providing a significant Foundation for its further development and growth. All of this becomes a solid Foundation for further profitable development of oil and gas companies, oilfield industry, oil refining and petrochemicals”.
