The CSU politician Barbara Stamm is dead. The former Minister of State and longtime President of the State Parliament died in Würzburg on Wednesday after a long illness. This was announced by the Bavarian state parliament. She was 77 years old.
Barbara Stamm passed away at the age of 77. CSU politician Stamm was a member of the Bavarian state parliament from 1976 to 2018 and the first woman to head the parliament from 2008 to 2018. For many years she was deputy chairwoman of the CSU and Minister for Social Affairs under Edmund Stoiber.
