Volodin proposed to reduce the tariff for energy for religious organizations

the Head of the lower house, reportedly proposed to consider the issue of changing the tariff, citing the following arguments: activities of religious organizations at the expense of donations of citizens, and especially now they are closed to the public in connection with the spread of coronavirus.

the meeting discussed the possibility of including religious organizations in a preferential group of consumers “population”. According to the report, Vyacheslav Volodin and Alexander Novak agreed that the state Duma and the Ministry of energy calculate all costs and try to find the solution to this problem.
